Help protect care for New Jersey’s most vulnerable populations

Across our state, older adults, people with disabilities, children and families with limited resources depend on fair, compassionate care — care now threatened by the implementation of H.R. 1. The Garden State Coalition for Care (GSCC) brings together advocates, providers, neighbors, and experts to amplify efforts and mitigate the impact on services these communities rely on for health and independence.

How you can Get Involved

  • Sign up: Become a member and receive timely alerts about policy decisions, public forums, and campaigns that need your voice.

  • Advocate: Contact your state legislators about policy decisions that affect care. Policymakers listen when constituents speak up.

  • Attend events: Participate in town halls, webinars, and community forums to learn about issues, build skills, and connect with other members.

  • Volunteer: Share your perspective and expertise with fellow advocates and help us create resources to bring awareness and mitigate harm.

  • Share your story: Personal experiences are powerful and make abstract policy real. Tell elected officials and the public how care issues affect you or your loved ones.

  • Spread the word: Engage with our social posts, and share our resources to your followers.
